How This Weird *Morning Ritual* Transformed

My Diabetes changed and my Life!

My sugars are controlled and I'm still eating dessert!

By Mary B. 60 from Dallas, TX.

My mother always told me, “Mary, if you keep eating so many desserts, you'll end up with diabetes like me."

And since I never listened and kept eating dessert…I blame myself for ending up with high sugars, blurry vision, troubled kidneys, and infected feet. I had created such a poor relationship with food, especially with sweets and my body was paying the price.

Even with my health on the line, I couldn't change my eating. But here’s the frustrating thing: I’ve always had friends who are naturally slender and healthy even though they eat whatever they want.

Meanwhile, I USED to be in pretty good shape back in my prime…but only because I worked out like a maniac to make up for all the dessert.

The Old Unhealthy, Unhappy Me!

Fast forward to me working a full time job while raising three kids…and I just didn’t have the time in my schedule anymore. Before I knew it, the pounds started piling on and my sugars kept getting higher and higher. First came the pre diabetes talk from my doctor.

I tried cutting carbs and exercising for a few years, but eventually I gave up. The desserts became more and more frequent and the scale and my sugars started climbing again.

I thought after my kids got older and I retired that I would focus on my health more. I didn't. My health continued to worsen. And then, I finally got the dreaded diabetes diagnosis that I had been hoping to avoid for years. I thought my life was over. The finger pricks and the needle injections... I became depressed and insecure.

I turned to my comfort...food, which only made things worse. With every unhealhy meal, my sugars would skyrocket and my health would plummet. My life was falling apart and my marriage was going down with it.

I was tired, un well, and angry all the time...and that's when I knew something needed to change and FAST.

Not only that -- it had to be something realistic to MY life or I knew it wouldn't stick. I didn't want to spend hours at doctors offices and I didn't want to give up dessert. So I started my search for something fast and easy.

The New Happier, Healthier Me!

With nothing else to lose, I took the advice and started learning about the "Morning Ritual".

I read every post on the instagram page she recommended, and just like that: Boom! my "Aha Moment".

Turns out, my issues had NOTHING to do with diet, genetics, or exercise. The REAL issue was toxic zombie cells that created a blanket that was destroying my pancreas and the rest of my body.

Now, after decades of stuggling with diabetes and it's consequences, I'm proudly back to controlled sugars in the 130s and couldn't be happier! I even shared this "Morning Ritual" with my diabetes support group…who are all seeing a noticeable change within the first 10 days, just like I did!

At my most recent appointment, my doctor was stunned. When she looked at my lab work, I thought her jaw was going to hit the floor.

The scale and my sugars are the lowest they have been in years! And of course…my husband LOVES the new me. Let’s just say the spark is back and it’s burning brighter than ever. We are happy, healthy, and living our best life.... insulin free, finger prick free, and full of desserts!

Supporting your journey in health and happiness,
